Edward C. Gill practices exclusively in the areas of personal injury, criminal defense and civil rights. He graduated from Tulane University in 1979 and Tulane Law School, cum laude, in 1982. He was admitted to the Bar of the State of Delaware in 1983 and has been practicing continuously in Georgetown since then. He is admitted to the bars of all courts of the state of Delaware, the Federal District Court for the District of Delaware, the Third Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United State Supreme Court.
Mr. Gill belongs to various legal organizations, including the American Association for Justice, the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the NORML Legal Committee, and the Unitarian Universalists of Southern Delaware Church. He is also a Member of the Waldwick High School Basketball Hall of Fame for his basketball prowess.
Stephen W. Welsh (Steve) graduated from the Franklin & Marshal College with a Bachelor of Arts Degree then Penn State Dickinson School of Law and was admitted to the Bar of the State of Delaware.
Mr. Welsh currently practices in the areas of criminal law, family law (divorce, custody, child support, adoption, protection from abuse and guardianship), and worker’s compensation. Mr. Welsh also practices dependency/neglect law in the Sussex County Family Court.
Mr. Welsh has been admitted to practice before all courts in the state of Delaware. He belongs to the American Bar Association, the Sussex County Bar Association, the Terry Carey American Inns of Court and the American Trial Lawyers’ Association.
Raised in Lewes, Delaware, Mr. Welsh attended Cape Henlopen High School where he was active in student government, was the captain of the soccer team for two years and captain of the State Championship lacrosse team. He was First Team All-State and a High School All American.
While attending Franklin & Marshal College he was captain of the lacrosse team and was two time All-Conference. He was a Centennial Conference Player of the Year and also a College All-American.
Alaina M. Chamberlain graduated from the American University with a bachelor of arts degree and the University of Miami School of Law. She was admitted to the bar of the state of New Jersey, the state of Pennsylvania and the state of Delaware. Ms. Chamberlain served as a judicial law clerk and mediator for the Family Court of Sussex County for two years prior to joining the law office of Edward Gill. Alaina can also assist with simple wills.
Ms. Chamberlain currently practices in the area of family law. Ms. Chamberlain currently also handles dependency/neglect cases in the Family Court of Sussex County. She has been admitted to practice before all courts of the state of Delaware, the state of New Jersey and the state of Pennsylvania.
Ms. Chamberlain belongs to the American Bar Association, the Delaware State Bar Association and the Sussex County Bar Association.
